In the book “Observations of An Idiot,” Ms. Anderson gives us a look into the mind of an "idiot". The stories in this book range from the funny and silly, to the insightful and inspirational. Ms. Anderson's main point to this book was to show the  ways that different people view life and the things around it. An example of this would be like the story Wishful Thinking. That story shows how one person wishes for a better life for herself while another is happy with the life around him. Then there is the story Dust to Dust, in which a person wishes that when they die, they can come back as dust so that they can annoy the people who did them wrong.

My favorite story has to be Tricksters. I love the way that Sylvia got back at her family for all of the things that they had done to people their whole lives. Another favorite of mine was Additional Foolish Rules to Live By. I loved the rules: 1. Friends are people you can disagree with and they will still talk to you despite the fact they now know you are stupid and dumb. 2. Should someone threaten you, laugh, giggle, or smile. This confuses them and gives you a chance to get away. And my ABSOLUTE favorite one.......... In case of an emergency, all of your friends and family will be out for the evening. Your doctor will be out of the country, too.

I think this book is good for anyone who wants a book that they can pick up and put down at will.  These short stories are great anytime you need a pick me up! This is the second book of Ms. Anderson's that I have read and enjoyed. Great book!!
