“Tracking the Soul with an Astrology of Consciousness” by Joe Landwehr is fantastic! I am a Professional Astrologer and have been for over 28 years. Of all the books that I have read about astrology, “Tracking the Soul with an Astrology of Consciousness” is by far the best of them all!

Joe Landwehr’s clear interpretation of the Chakra’s is excellent and I love the way that he teaches us all about the important different levels (Kosha’s) of each Chakra. Clear, precise, and intellectually stimulating, I found each description a gift in itself. I read the sections about the Chakra’s over and over again. Just these sections alone make an excellent book! Anyone with an interest in knowing more about the importance of Chakra’s should read this book. Maybe for those people who don’t know too much about Astrology, Joe Landwehr will grace us all and put this important information in a book all its own. I can see how many healers and other body workers could greatly benefit from this information.
  
Being an Astrologer, I totally loved the way that Joe taught me about a whole new spin on how to look for the balance, or an imbalance, of a person’s Chakra’s by looking deeply into a person’s natal chart. He gives plenty of examples, which I found profoundly interesting.   I plan to read this part over and over again.  Joe Landwehr’s writing ability is wonderful and I felt like he was sitting right by me teaching me each step of the way. The personal case studies, the planets and their roles in triggering each Chakra’s energy, understanding ruler-ships and aspects, and even describing which planets will help to awaken the needed energy for each Chakra totally amazed me. The “Astro-logic” of the whole book, along with Joe’s writing style, kept me pinned to its pages.
 
At the end of the book he has given us all of the diagrams of the Chakra patterns, in relation to the natal astrology chart, along with other table references which make it so much easier to understand the whole concept while you are learning this Chakra technique.
 
I can’t say that I totally understand everything yet, but I am interested in researching this more by reading this great book over and over again. As with any Astrology book, this book is great for reference and is a must for any serious Astrologer.
