A Texas Legacy Christmas (Barbour Value Fiction)
Chloe took a job at the local boarding house. The job was to watch the front desk, keep the books, clean, and help wherever she was needed. She had no family and knew she must fend for herself. Many nights she had slept outside and gone hungry. She remembered Zack from school. He was eight-years older than she was and always treated her well. Many of the other kids made fun of her, but Zack saw that she was hungry and brought her food each day. When he walked back into her life, she knew she had loved him since she was a child. “A Texas Legacy Christmas,” by DiAnn Mills, is Christian Romance at its finest. Ms. Mills is an exceptional writer. The plot of this story flows smoothly. I could not put it down and read it in one sitting. The characters were so well-developed that they jumped off the page and came alive in front of me. Zack and Chloe’s romance is endearing. Ms. Scott and Simeon brought a smile to my face more than once. How could anyone not love Curly and Charlie? The supporting characters are all intriguing. I wonder if another story with Eli as a main character might not be in the works. Ms. Mills uses Christian values and tells a story of true romance. I highly recommend “A Texas Legacy Christmas” to fans of Christian romance. |
