Kathy Reichert tells her story of how she dealt with the loss of her husband.  She was married to her husband for eleven years when he died unexpectedly of a heart attack.  She writes about the depth of despair that she had to go through before she could heal. What helped her healing process were the messages that she began receiving from her husband from the other side.   In spite of the sadness of losing her husband, this is really a beautiful story that shows that love transcends this dimension.

By sharing her story, Reichert shows us that there is something more out there.  This gives you so much hope that there is something wonderful on the other side.  By receiving signs from her husband, she didn’t have to wait to know this.  She feels that these experiences are helpful for those dealing with the loss of a loved one.  These are gifts given to us by our spirit guides to help us grow.  She cautions that one should not put their life on hold waiting for these signs; they will come as we need them.   Reichert shares her experiences by journaling the events that happened.  Most of these occurred as synchronistic events or in her dreams.

This book would be very valuable for people that are newly widowed.  Reichert understands their grief and wants to help them to start their healing.  By reading someone else’s story and knowing that this pain is real, yet can be transcended, I think that it will really help with the healing process.  She also encourages her readers to be open to communicating with their spirit guides.  She knows that they are there to help us grow.  What a gift she has received by being able to contact the love of her life.  She said that the departed souls also grieve and can have regrets.  This happened in the case of her husband because he died unexpectedly.

 “The Best Dead Husband in the World” would make an excellent gift for someone newly widowed.  It would be an excellent way for you to help someone with their healing process and in doing so you would also let them know how much you care.  Reichert’s story will show you that there is a whole other spiritual life out there waiting for us.  She also shows the newly widowed that this experience will make them stronger.
