One Night with You Logan felt he’d loved her all his life. They’d met as teenagers; in their early twenties they’d experienced one night of exquisite passion. Bo loved her horses, she loved Kentucky, and she knew she loved Logan but she ran. She was afraid to truly love someone. Her father had loved her mother. Bo had seen the pain her father suffered when her mother died. It was years later and he still hadn’t gotten over it. As a photographer Bo traveled where her work called. Logan had repeatedly tried to contact her but she wouldn’t take his calls. Now she was back in Kentucky and engaged to his cousin David. Logan knew she could never find such deep passion with anyone else. The wedding day was quickly approaching and Logan was asked to be the best man. Desperate times called for desperate measures. Logan couldn’t allow Bo to marry David without one more attempt to win her heart. So he kidnapped her. He took her to a cabin in Cumberland. When Bo woke up in the cabin with Logan by her side she knew she loved him but she also knew she’d made a commitment to David. Logan took her engagement ring off of her and made passionate love to her. She finally admitted to herself and to Logan that he was the only man she could ever love. “One Night with You” by Shiloh Walker is an extremely passionate book. The plot is humorous at times but never loses its sensuality. The scene where Logan removed Bo’s engagement ring with his mouth was steaming hot. The characters are well-developed, especially Logan. He knows what he wants and will go to extreme lengths to get it. The only fault I have with this book is the editing. This is one of those light reads that you can enjoy while lounging next to the pool while on vacation. Fans of erotic romance will enjoy this one. |
