Robert is the widower of Irene (Founder of Reader Views)and father of Juanita and Daryn. The reason the family ended up in Austin was because Robert was transferred here to manage a multi-family complex for a Canadian firm. After several years, when the project was sold, Robert and Irene decided to make Austin their permanent home. He is very active in the Founder's Lions Club in Austin, Texas, chairing projects and being a board member. He likes to golf and catch the occasional hockey game on TV. Robert's reading interests are business and real estate related.
I enjoy reading in all genres, and getting so involved in a story that I lose all track of time. Austin, Texas has been my home for over 30 years. I love to exercise, be it jogging around the lake, working out at the gym, or playing golf with my husband. I enjoy cooking and creating new recipes, and gardening is my new passion – I’m determined to grow vegetables in this rocky terrain!
Book Reviewer/Foreign Language
Born and raised in Italy, I studied foreign languages, literature and translation studies at the University of L’Aquila, but after finishing Grad school I soon moved to the UK where I majored in English at the University of Cambridge… at that time I didn’t know that my traveler career just started! After my British experience, I moved to a small village in France where I taught Italian in middle and high schools. The year I spent there didn’t meet my personal needs but, somehow, it gave me the opportunity to get in contact with the Colorado College, who offered me the position of Italian Instructor and Cultural Program Coordinator. Very happily, I then left France and I moved to the US to teach Italian at a great College, where, after two years, I had the opportunity to become a Visiting Professor. At Colorado College I was lucky enough to meet Susan and her beautiful family, who believed in me and gave me the opportunity to join her “I Have Something To Say Press” team as an Italian translator, and I will always be grateful for her trust. What I love about translating literature is that I don’t have to create characters, settings or perfect endings: the author handles the blank page. My challenge is to have a perfect grasp of the “sense and spirit” of the writer, to choose the best words, to respect the original style. My job, if done correctly, is invisible… but there’s no better reward than hear the author saying, “I could hear my own voice, but in Italian.”
I am a lover of knowledge. I am a part time adult college student planning my next career as a family therapist. I enjoy reading books for pleasure and to learn. What a great thing it is when I get so engaged in a book that I don't want it to end! I hope every child has that experience with a good book!

Hello, I'm Susan's and Michel 21 years old daughter. I'm in college studying Political Sciences. I love the outdoors, thrilling sports, travel, animals, and most of all books!
