Books for Incarcerated Readers

In partnership with Inside Books Project · Austin, TX

Reader Views donates books to the Inside Books Project, a volunteer-led nonprofit right here in Austin that sends free books and reading materials to people incarcerated in Texas. As the only books-to-prisoners program in the state, Inside Books serves more than 130,000 incarcerated individuals, shipping over 35,000 books each year. We believe access to reading matters everywhere, and we’re glad to put books where they’re needed most.

Why We Show Up

For over 20 years, Reader Views has worked alongside independent authors. Sponsoring events, partnering with conferences, and supporting literacy initiatives are all part of how we invest in the community that makes indie publishing thrive. When authors, editors, marketers, and readers come together to share what they know, everyone benefits. We’re proud to be part of those conversations, and we look forward to showing up in more places in the future.
