Since 2005, the Reader Views Literary Awards have recognized outstanding books from independent authors and small presses. What began as a small effort to level the playing field has grown into a respected awards program built on editorial expertise, transparency, and a commitment to indie voices.
Today, the program reflects two decades of growth, experience, and a deep respect for the independent publishing community.

Independent authors often face a frustrating lack of visibility. Our awards program was created to change that. Every entry receives a professional review and a 20-point evaluation, ensuring each entrant gets thoughtful attention from experienced reviewers. Winners and finalists gain exposure across our platforms and reach new readers, librarians, booksellers, and reviewers who actively support independent publishing.
