WRITING IT FORWARD
Help Fellow Authors While Expanding Your Audience
Have you ever thought about sharing your knowledge with fellow authors, bloggers, and readers? At Reader Views, we believe that the best resources for writers come from other writers. That’s why our editorial section is always open for guest contributors like you! Whether you have valuable tips, lessons from your writing journey, or insights into the ever-changing publishing landscape, we’d love to feature your work.
But why should you take the time to write an article? What’s in it for you? Let’s break down the benefits.
Establish Yourself as an Authority
Sharing your insights and experiences is one of the best ways to establish yourself as an expert in the literary world. Whether you’re an indie author navigating the complexities of book marketing or a seasoned writer perfecting your craft, your voice matters. By contributing an article, you not only help others but also position yourself as a thought leader in the writing community.
Expand Your Reach and Grow Your Audience
Writing an article for our newsletter and blog introduces you to a wider audience of authors, book reviewers, and avid readers. Your article isn’t just a one-time feature—it lives permanently on our blog, giving you continued exposure over time. Plus, we promote your piece across our social media channels, increasing visibility even further.
Promote Your Book and Website
We know how important it is to get your work in front of the right people. As a guest contributor, your article includes a full author bio with links to your website, social media, and books. Additionally, during the week your article runs, we feature your latest book on our Author Showcase page, spotlighting you as our Guest Editorial Contributor of the Week.
Build Relationships in the Writing Community
Writing can feel like a solitary pursuit, but the truth is, success in publishing often comes down to connections. By contributing an article, you’re engaging with fellow authors, industry professionals, and readers who are eager to learn from your experiences. The writing world thrives on collaboration, and this is a great opportunity to make valuable connections.
What Should You Write About?
We’re looking for original articles between 400–1,200 words on topics related to writing, editing, marketing, and publicity. Think about what’s worked for you—what lessons have you learned that could help others?

Thank you for this opportunity! Since retiring in May of 2022 I have published two historical fiction novels, which you can read more about at http://www.kingcottonbooks.com. The third installment in the trilogy is going to the printer this week.
The first two books have received some very favorable reviews, including one from Reader Views (https://readerviewsarchives.wordpress.com/2024/10/29/king-cotton-ii-kentucky-gold-by-richard-a-noble/).
These were my first books ever, and I would be happy to write about how I got started, how I navigted my way through the process, what I have learned, and what I have become much better at.
My article will particularly appeal to first time authors.
